About Whiskey Trip

Carl Owens & Whiskey Trip is a five-piece Country and Honky Tonk band from Florida’s Treasure Coast. Frontman Carl Owens, born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL, began singing in church and gradually shifted from gospel to country, heavily influenced by hometown legend Gary Stewart. Inspired by Stewart’s song “Whiskey Trip,” Carl named the band after it.

Formed in 2021, the band features top touring musicians and is known for high-energy performances, rich vocal harmonies, and hard-driving guitar. Regularly playing across Florida, they’ve opened for major acts like Deana Carter, Mark Chesnutt, Eli Young Band, and more, earning a reputation as one of the Southeast’s top country bands.
