Rebecca McIlvain is a solo performer residing in Vero Beach Florida. While she is a singer/songwriter with a bachelors degree in Jazz studies from the University of North Florida, she has also spent time studying the music of many cultures in the ethnomusicology program of FSU.

With a hauntingly honest, lyrical style, Rebecca has a knack for reinterpreting classic, jazz and folks standards,, as well as writing songs that are relevant to the times and environment of today. Her vocal qualities have been compared with the likes of Billie Holiday and Astrud Gilberto.
