Megan De Souza

Spa Manager

Megan De Souza received her Associate's Degree in Business at Central Maine Technical School and attended Capilo Institute earning her aesthetician license in the State of Maine. After deciding it was time for a change of weather she packed up her car and moved to sunny Florida. She began working as an aesthetician at The Spa at Costa d'Este when it first opened in 2008.  Since then, Megan has earned a massage therapist license specializing in Ashiatsu, nails, and is The SPA manager. She currently resides in Vero Beach with her husband Marcio and "fur-baby" dog, Pele. They hope to retire and move to Brazil one day.

Megan De Souza

Gisela Austin

Licensed Massage Therapist  and Lymph Drainage

Trained in Germany for medical massage and manual lymph drainage, and perfecting her skills for nearly 50 years, Gisela has held various positions along the way. She has owned a boutique massage clinic, managed a medical spa, and worked in hospitals. Gisela specializes in working with cancer patients, and loves to help people—she feels this career allows her to do just that. Gisela is bilingual and speaks both English and German.

Tiffany De Bruyn

Spa Coordinator

Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University.  Through college she worked at a local salon and fell in love with both the industry and atmosphere of the salon/spa world.  After almost 7 years at the salon she decided to pack her bags and head to Florida on a new adventure.  As a "Michigander," Tiffany loves every minute of the Florida sunshine!

Cathi Nalzaro

Licensed Massage Therapist ESTHETICAN & NAIL TECHNICIAN

Cathi Nalzaro began her career in the spa industry in 1999 as a salon associate for Vito Mazza Salon and Spa in Woodbridge, New Jersey. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist, her main focus soon became being a facial specialist for the Australian organic skin care company, Jurlique. There, she became a trainer for the company as well as spa manager for their Short Hills, New Jersey location. In 2006, Cathi moved to Vero Beach, Florida and became a licensed full specialist (facials and nails). After working as an independent operator, she was employed by The SPA at Costa d’Este in 2010. In 2012, Cathi became a licensed massage therapist, making her a “triple threat” in the spa. In addition to her multiple licensing, she is also certified in Brazilian wax technique.

Cathi received her post-graduate education at the Dermal Institute in New York in skin analysis and treatment of rosacea and sensitized skin. Career highlights within the spa industry include being a hair assistant, spa consultant, facial specialist, product/treatment trainer, spa manager, marketing assistant, nail tech and LMT. Cathi’s personal mission statement is to provide above and beyond excellent customer service and impart invaluable personal care and education to every client.

Josie Diaz-Garcia


Josie started her career as a licensed Cosmetologist in Illinois. She moved to Florida in 2009 and began working at The SPA as the receptionist. She returned to Illinois and began working at our sister property, Eaglewood Resort and Spa. By 2011, she and her family relocated to Palm Bay, Florida and she returned to The SPA at Costa d’Este. Josie ultimately realized that The SPA was her place of zen...why not make it yours? Josie is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish.

Meghan Corbley

Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician

Meghan is a licensed esthetician and massage therapist. She creates customized treatments to address specific needs. Through creative inspiration and current techniques she creates a unique experience that provides total relaxation and improves overall health of your skin. Her passion for skin care and massage therapy extends out of the treatment room with recommendations for the best products for every skin type and any age. She is currently focused on relaxation and deep-tissue massage and facials. In her spare time she continues her education in both esthetics and massage therapy to stay current on new techniques and trends.

Jill Pollock

Massage Therapist

Jill is a native Vero Beacher.  After a career as a stained glass artist she chose a new path as a massage therapist as a way to relieve peoples everyday stress and overworked bodies.  Jill has been a liscensed massage therapist for ten years.  Working on the feet is her specialty.

Staci McMahon

Spa Receptionist and Pool Concierge

Staci grew up in the relaxed beach town of Vero Beach. After graduating from Vero Beach High School she ventured off to college and attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Health Science, with an emphasis in Health Service Administration. After five years in Ft. Myers, she began to miss the east coast of Florida. Staci recently moved back to Vero Beach for an internship and happened to fall into the hospitality industry. New to the Costa d’Este Beach Resort team, she is loving every moment of her new adventure in the hospitality world.

Tara Porter

Massage Therapist

Tara  Graduated in 2008 from Renton Technical College for Massage Therapy.  She specializes in deep tissue massage, sports massage, and injury treatment as well as Swedish massage.  She decided to go to school for massage therapy because she has always been interested in energy and body work.  Tara is new to the state of Florida by way of Hawaii and Seattle, Washington.  She plans to go back to school for a cosmetology license in order to do nails and facials and would like to learn acupuncture sometime in the future.

Gabriela Dos Santos

Spa Receptionist and Pool Concierge

Gabriela grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. At the age of 6, her family moved to Vero Beach, Florida. Gabriela graduated in 2011 at Vero Beach High School and attended Indian River State College for Culinary Arts. After two semesters of culinary school she realized this was not the career path for her. Gabriela came across Costa d’Este Beach Resort and fell in love with the Cuban inspired, modern resort and team spirit in The Spa at Costa d’Este. She is flourishing in the hospitality industry and enjoying every moment at The SPA. Gabriela is bilingual and speaks both English and Portuguese.

Jerzi Nalzaro 

Pool Concierge

Jerzi Nalzaro moved to Vero Beach, FL from New Jersey in 2006. In 2012 she has received her Associate of Arts degree, and she also plans to enter a nursing program to achieve her Associate of Science degree. Growing up, Jerzi had an interest in cosmetology and the spa industry.  Her ultimate goal is to become a registered nurse, a licensed cosmetologist, and to pursue a career in medical aesthetics. Eventually, she also wants to volunteer on medical missions in the Philippines.

Marjorie Carta

Pool Concierge

Marjorie moved to Vero Beach three years ago from New Jersey for a better environment. She finished her last two high school years and graduated in 2013. She received her CNA license in May. In August she began college at IRSC and plans on getting her BS in Radiography. She heard wonderful things about the hotel and came across this beach resort by multiple coworkers, family and even strangers. Recently working as a pool concierge, she says she is infatuated with her job because she plans on being in the medical field and tells us that this will help her become more experienced in hospitality. She loves talking with people all over the world, meeting the people’s needs, or just making someone smile by a simple hello.

Mandy McElhaney

Pool Concierge

Mandy is a native of Vero Beach, FL.  She loves being involved in the community, helping others and making Vero a better place to live.  She has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 3 years and is now making her way into the spa industry.  She enjoys being around people and meeting new friends.  Her son is the light of her life.  She will be attending college in the near future to  earn her associates degree, and would like to eventually become an ultrasound technician.
